It is an innovative business opportunity programme that delivers bottom line benefits for members whilst generating positive outcomes for the environment and society. Put simply, the NISP vision is to change the way business thinks.

NISP (National Industrial Symbiosis Programme) - The Pathway to a Low Carbon Sustainable Economy

NISP contracted IGNITION to design and print a 100 page report to highlight the progress and success of NISP since its inception. This was an extremely high profile publication that was presented to the Prime Minister and business leaders.  The project also included enhancements to the NISP brand to reflect its growth and development in recent years.  

Objectives

To design a publication that would truly reflect the value of the NISP programme and appeal to the most influential leaders in the UK when promoting both the work of NISP and the recruitment of new members.  To consolidate numerous case studies and statistics into a publication that would be used time and time again as a reference guide in businesses and government organisations across the UK and overseas.

Results

The publication was launched at the NISP annual stakeholder meeting, presented to the Prime Minister and used at conferences promoting industrial symbiosis and its positive environmental, social and economic benefits.  It has provided NISP leaders with a document that demonstrates the value of NISP’s work and the benefits to members; it has been described as “inspiring” and reaffirms the organisation’s commitment to its aims.
