Hannah Jardine’s top 5 key take outs from IMCAS 2024

IMCAS 2024

IMCAS is the world leading congress in dermatology, plastic surgery and aesthetic science.

Ignition’s Sustainability & Development Director, Hannah Jardine, visited the IMCAS World Congress in Paris and shared her Top 5 take outs across attraction, engagement, popularity, product awareness and brand positioning.

1. Allergan

Why? Attraction and engagement

This stand was a real eye catcher! It included state-of-the-art moving visuals, with 3D effects, and a colour changing tunnel.

All routes of the stand led to a central coffee station. It showed a real touch of Allergan’s unique brand identity, all whilst engaging the audience.

2. L’Oreal Group

Why? Popularity

L’Oreal had a very popular selfie booth which was enclosed in the centre of the stand.

Keeping the attractor partly hidden lead to intreague and a queue of delegates wishing to take a photo (including me 😊)! This demonstrated L’Oreal’s popular identity in the crowded surroundings.

3. Merz

Why? Product awareness and creativity

Merz had a creative display wall to advertise Radiesse. Radiesse is a unique injectable aesthetic treatment. It’s the first and only CaHA range that provides immediate, natural-looking results and long-term improvement.

The display wall subtly represented how the product works, denoting the CaHA particles integrating into the skin creating a “scaffold” that stimulates production of collagen and elastin. This was a popular photo wall which represented the product in a creative way.

4. Isdin

Why? Brand positioning… in more ways than one!

Isdin had a beautiful display of their products with obvious clear facts about each one. Within a busy congress hall, this messaging really stood out.

This display also allowed delegates to interact with the products.

5. Sesderma

Why? Local roots

Sesderma had a section of their stand, in the Medi+derma area, which highligted it’s Spanish roots. The tables were dressed with modles of Spanish dancers and flags.

Sesderma is a Spanish dermatology laboratory which was founded in 1989. Mediderma was founded 10 years later. This was a popular area of the stand, and reflecting on it’s local roots was unique to the show.
